OfeliaDorme is a band based in Bologna (Italy).The band's name is inspired by a Rimbaud poem, "Ophelie". The members of the band are Francesca Bono (vocals, guitar ,keyboards), Gianluca Modica (bass, guitar), Michele Postpischl (drums, bass), and Tato Izzia (guitar, bass).
In early 2009 the band contributed with one of their songs "6:17pm" to 3 compilations by 3 different labels: Series Two Records(USA), Midfinger Records (IT) and Canebagnato Records (IT).
On May 6th, 2009 published their first self produced EP, entitled "Sometimes it's better to wait",which has been well reviewed in Italy and abroad (UK, USA, Canada, France, New Zealand...). During 2010 they contributed with a couple of songs to more compilations:

In February 2011 the band releases the full lenght "All Harm Ends Here". OfeliaDorme’s been touring extensively in Italy and played gigs in the UK and Belgium.
OfeliaDorme, una delle band dal respiro internazionale più interessanti del panorama musicale alternativo italiano, è sulla scena dal 2007 e autoproduce nel 2009 un EP dal titolo "Sometimes it's better to wait".
Grazie alle ottime recensioni in Italia e all'estero, il disco permette alla band di suonare tanto e anche oltreconfine (Londra, Manchester, Bruxelles).

A febbraio 2011 esce l'album "All harm ends here" registrato nel proprio studio (Soporoco Studio), promosso da A Buzz Supreme e distribuito da Audioglobe.
A ottobre 2011 danno alle stampe un Vinile 7" Picture disc con un inedito.
Chiudono il 2011 come finalisti del Premio Fuori dal Mucchio e con un tour nazionale di circa 40 date.
Nei primi mesi del 2012 continueranno l'attività live con numerosi concerti sia in Italia che in Europa (Francia, Inghilterra, Belgio).
Lo spirito è sempre quello del DIY, che caratterizza la musica e le scelte stilistico-produttive degli OfeliaDorme, che sembrano avere "an astonishing talent for capturing the sound of something beautiful dying".
